New Healey?

They spelled enema wrong.

:highly_amused:

I also see they are calling it a "Healy."

I saw one in person at SoCal Healey Week a couple of years ago. I was not impressed.

I much prefer HealeyRick’s approach - update an original but leave it looking close to stock....

Oooh! I detect a certain level of animosity to the concept here! But I surely do appreciate the humour of the comments.
I guess I wish them well, but (among other things) unless it's got a six in it, it ain't a Healey. Doug

Dang! Just realized that the above was my 1000th post! Doug

Of the several "New Healey" creations that we've been periodically subjected to that is probably the worst and it looks like it was designed by the folks who gave us "Mr. Potatohead". The only visual connection between it and an AH is the vaguely similar grill shape. Please euthanize it now.

[FONT=&quot]I see the big Healey as one of those rock stars that died at the age of 29. They left us in their prime (even though the Healey was getting a bit long in the tooth), never to be duplicated. Subsequent successors that attempt to incorporate elements of Gerry's design have never caught it. I think the BMW Z8 looked a bit Healey-like and the BMW "Project Warwick" was something that might have worked as a new Healey, but otherwise the Healey is best remembered as it was.

I've just put in my order and I absolutely love the new " Healey blue" color. Looks like a big Healey a new Mini Cooper and some kind of classic Porsche had a 3 way head on collision and the poor auto body guy had no data on how to put them back together and used the parts he could. They should call it the Healey Humpty Dumpty. Or am I just being a snob?

Also, thank goodness they managed to squeeze the word "bespoke" into their ad. One of my favorite buzz words on my " do not ever use" list, right next to "moving forward", "drill down", "boots on the ground" ( as opposed to what, boots in the air?), and so many more. I could take a deep dive here but why go the whole nine yards?

That's it??
Feh. Meh.
I've never been a Healey guy, but for looks, it can't be beat.
"I know Healeys - and you're no Healey".

That's what I saw as well. The problem as I see it is those elements weren't flowed together. One spot is the rear bumper doesn't follow the swag line.

HealeyRick’s profile shot makes the front end look very Audi TT Mk 1 as Bob_Spiddel noted in post #5. Here is a profile of my Healey next to my Audi TT....
