Linda and I had an excellent time. Good racing and mostly decent weather.
It was great to meet up with Michael and his son.

Hey Nial--

Great driving--a fine dice with John Faulkner in the MG and a bold pass on Lotus 332!

My son Steven enjoyed the Thursday/Friday Driving School alot after which they threw him into the deep end of the pool. He did the Saturday qualifier as his first ever wheel-to-wheel event, then went out for the Saturday PM Group 1 race and drove wonderfully, holding off a number of guys throughout the entire session. He came in totally stoked--I think I have created a monster!

Good being with you and Linda as always and I guess I will next see you at BeaveRun?

Looks like the fruit doesn't fall too far from the tree. He looked good out there!
Maybe you'll have tow the Elva out to the left-coast. A friend of mine is doing a Bondurant school at Laguna Seca today. He just texted me and says it wonderful out there.

We talked to Lotus 332 afterwards. He pointed us both by on his right but I was already committed to a left pass. John and I passed him at the same time, one on each side. He held steady and didn't swerve which is exactly the correct thing to do. We told him that he did a good job but just wanted to make sure he wasn't spooked because we knew he was a brand new racer. He was fine and we had a good laugh.

By the way, you did a bold pass yourself at about the 2:00 minute mark on ~This Video~

Yes our next event is BeaveRun other than a possible NJMP track day in the Miata.

Yes that would be me....

The first few times through turn 3 I stayed out a bit and got fully compressed in that big hole so decided to straddle the rumble strips.

Nial,

Who's running the yellow AH 100-4? I saw it for sale a few years back online and thought, mmmmm..................maybe.
