Thanks for having me. I own a 1978 triumph spitfire. Currently replacing cracked fuel lines. Started car seem to have a stuck float fuel flowing out of carb. Will know more tomorrow it’s hot out.
Reading all your posts has given me hope for this budget project.

Welcome to the forum.

You will find that the Triumph section is very active and you are sure to get plenty of tips, advice and help with your Spitfire. Check the fuel tank for rust etc. That may be what is causing the float valve to stick. A filter in the line may help.

Or just cleaning the float valve after replacing the lines may be all it needs. Sometimes bits fall off inside and jam the needle open.
