I'm the new guy. Name is Keith and my wife bought me a project for her. 1975 MGB. Getting the wheels painted and new tires (old ones were very dry rotted). This car has been sitting in a garage since 1982. Started and ran for a few times and then just died. Tail and brake lights won't work, minor body work needed, Electrical issues. I hope you guys will go easy on me as I have never had a British car before. I will be asking for your advise and appreciate all I can get. Talk with you guys soon, Keith

Do not put good tires on until you get it running. If you get it running quickly, yes. Sometimes you get started and some sort of family matter comes up and it goes on back burner. That way you are not taking life off new tires while it sits.
