I've always been a fan of British sports cars even if they do have Lucas electronics.(The prince of darkness)I'm located in Music City, USA; Nashville, TN. & can't find a mechanic that will touch a '85 XJS. I guess I'll have to try and fix the beast myself. Specific questions will follow. MY INTRO
 
Welcome to the forum. You will find a great deal of help here. It's also a nice place to vent your frustrations with British car ownership, Lucas is usually at the top of the complaint list. Hope to see some posts on your XJS soon.

I have a friend up in Nashville that has a few places that will work on your XJS. In fact, if you give him a call he can probably sort out the problems for you!!
