New guy here, today,
I live in Crystal Lake, IL,
we do have 2 British car events
every year,
a swap meet/auto jumble this weekend,
and then there is a British Car Show
in August or Sept.

I thought I had learned my lesson
but did buy a 52 Prefect again and a
48 Prefect parts car.

Always looking for used tyres;
5.00 x 16, bias and tubes.

But since I am retired, this project
should keep me busy this year.

regards,

Birmingham Bob

Don't see many Prefects over here.... Some pics would be nice! Birmingham ??? Which one, the original in the Midlands or the one in Alabama?

Welcome to the forum, you'll like it here!

Howdy Bob,

"Welcome" to the BCF.

"Prefect"?? What the heck is that?? You really need to post a pic or two here.

Best Wishes,

Russ

Here you go, Russ.....

Hi Steve,

"Thanx" for the pic. Its a bit hard to see but are the "Brake / Stop" lights "Flat" or like a "Beehive Bullet" look? The lens I have is a Beehive Bullet, Red, Made in England. Its the same size as a Lucas etc but I, nor anyone, can seem to identify it????

Thanx, Russ
