Just joined up because I have just inherited a ton of austin healey and mg midget parts

My grandfather just passed away and I got everything in the garage. Problem is: I do not know what half of it is. I mean I know what the parts are but I do not know what they work for. he had a 68 sprite but there is a ton of mg midget stuff mixed in with the parts. I want to sell it all but there is about 2 cars worth of stuff minus the bodies and I don't know if one car is completely interchangable with the other. Any help would be great
Thanks guys
Porkchop

Hi, and welcome to the Forum! A lot of the parts will be interchangeable. Hop over to the Spriget Forum, and you'll get a lot of help there.

Welcome porkchop..
Good luck getting rid of those parts..
We are always looking for varies items.
You should have no problem.

Hedgesville is in the eastern panhandle, about 10 miles east of Berkley Springs, 8 miles west of Martinsburg, wv.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!

Lovely area. Wish you luck sorting your bits. There are a few English car shops in the D.C. area. Maybe they could help?
Cheers,
D.

Welcome Porkchop.
I'm rather new here myself. I can't offer any additional advice for finding an outlet for your parts, nor could I tell you what went to the Healey or the MG. Interestingly though, I'm just across the river; Williamsport.
You mention parts but not if you have one of these wonderful machines. Inquiring minds... ???

Hi Porkchop, and welcome. I think you'll find Sprite/Midget are almost 100% interchangeable; most of the parts will also fit my Austin A40. Would you be prepared to ship stuff?

I am prepared to ship. I have an ebay account where I sell some bike stuff, so I am set up. I am still going through it all. As much as I would like to sell the hole lot I know that probably will not happen so I am working on taking a million pics of all of it. I am hoping to have it all up on my photo bucket by the end of this week, but there is so much small stuff! LOL. Let me know if there is anything you need, and what you want to pay for it and I will see what I can do.

Sounds like a cue for a PM here...
