Pat - Yes, the alternator is probably a bit on the weak side, but not to the extent that it needs replacement. Since you have a voltmeter in the circuit, just keep an eye on it and you will be ok - you will get sufficient warning if it gets worse to be able to take care of the problem efore it causes any disruption to your driving. When you replace the alternator, I would suggest either going to one of hte aftrmarket alternators or get a Beck Arnely rebuild, their rebuilds carry a lifetime warrentee.
