Hi All, I fell in love with British sports cars when I picked up my first car ever at the factory in Coventry - ‘72 TR6, while stationed in Scotland in the USN. The disappointment following its sale in ‘75 has lasted years. I picked up my current ’59 TR3A (I’d still prefer my TR6) in England in 1986 while residing there. An original “California-car”, re-imported to the UK, I’ve rebuilt most of it and am now tackling the lower front suspension. Background includes electronics and 39 years of oral landscaping from which I retired in 2018. I’m in the club now that seems to forget more than remembered! I’m looking forward to learning (and remembering) from everyone on the site. David

Welcome! You live in a beautiful area.
We were there in 1981 & took the ferry across the lake.
And nice car too.

Hello David

Welcome to the forum.

You will find the Triumph section is very active so you are sure to get plenty of tips and advice there for your TR3A.

Very nice clean engine compartment.

David

Glad to have you aboard! As David said - check out the Triumph forum!
