I DO like the clubman! I'm not sure I'm crazy about a lot of things about it in general, but I like the looks and functionality of it. Got me thinking, anyway.

As for everything else... except for the Ferrari, yawn. The Camaro will surely sell like mad, with lots of dealer markups to boot, bought by musclecar fanboys that need to feel more manly. Yawn, and yawn again!

All the "new for '08" Toyotas are on the lots. This year we've got the redesigned Tundra, and Sequoia, and the all new Land Cruiser. The only thing we've yet to see is the redesigned Corolla and Matrix that should be hitting the lots soon.
The Camry got a total face lift in 07 as did the Avalon, and the Yaris just came out in 07. Also the Scions (except the TC) got total makovers for 08 and are on the lots.
As for GM. Diden't we already try the old 4-6-8 cylinder cut motors??? they usually wound up being 2-4-6-4-5-4-2-motors. Hope this system is a bit better.

The Mini and the Ferarri are the only two there that I remotly like. That Jag? Gag! Maybe the Nissan would be ok, which looks to be competing with the Porsche 911. What did the car makers do, get together and decide to have a "who can make the ugliest car" contest?

Ugh! Overall, I'm glad I have my LBC's. I guess I'll be keeping the Surburban for another few years too.

My daily driver is a humble Hyundai Accent hatchback. Haven't seen anything new that really makes me want to go out and replace it yet (and it's paid for now).

I like the Honda Fit, and must admit that my wife and I both have a certain hankering for a Mini (I really like small hatchbacks). Not sure my upright bass would fit in a Mini, though. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Dealer markups you say?

I read an article about the new Dodge Challenger.

It's supposed to be priced at about $38K, according to Chrysler Corp.

The reality? The bidding war has started, and they think that the cars will ultimately end up selling in the range of $80K

At least one person who wanted to purchase it, wasn't pleased at the sharp mark-up in prices, effectively meaning he can't buy it now.

We may be getting the MINI wagon this summer - We''' be at the dealer in February with the car seats for a test drive - want to see if it'll fit the kids. If not, Maybe the 2008 Scion XB
