New file cabinet...in the twilight of my practice.

Re: New file cabinet...in the twilight of my pract

Dad was an immigrant from Syria in 1920. He was 8 at that time. When grandpa left the country with his young family to escape the ravaging Turks, he left behind the ownership papers to his property on the Mediterranean, about 10 hectares of land. In Syria, the eldest son inherits everything. Dad was. I am. 90 years plays havoc with absentee ownership, especially in a foreign country. The property now is highly developed. It is commonly referred to as downtown Beirut. (Lebanon was part of Syria back then.) With a street value of over 1 big one...that would be Billion! We tried, there is no way to retrieve ownership. If there was, I sure as heck wouldn't be over here filling rotten teeth. Pass the hookah.
