So I bought this kind of on a whim. Works great and saves soo much time. Anyone else had luck with one of these?

Working on trying to restore the tail fins instead of cutting and replacing them. Updates to come!
 
I bought one a few years ago and pulled a dent and it left a big hole in my Jaguar's fender. Returned it the next day. I suppose it was a cheap tool and didn't have any voltage control. Only reason to use it is if you don't have access to the inside of the dent. I learned to be pretty good with a hammer and dolly after that.
 
Yeah, I have a nice collection of hammers and dollies too. But I have quite a few places in the car the pounding out isn't going to work...
 
If you're working on a BE the PO of mine cut a hole under the licence plate so that he could reach inside to hold the dolly.
Having tried to remove dents in a BE rear by crawling inside and holding the dolly while instructing my son on where to hammer I thought his solution quite ingenious!!

I can imagine what it was like for your son after a couple hours of this. "Son, over to the right." "Huh?"
 
this is an excellent tool. do not try puling from one point but from many. also pull slightly on each stud multiple times, like torqueing a Head. use this with great success many times

Well, need I say that the project BE never did get finished!!

Actually with careful tapping, to make sure we were working together, we got pretty good at it!

I did the same thing with my body guy to correct some issues with the trunk floor. The car was upside down and I was the one inside. Worked out well...

Nice Gerard! Real nice. Do you by chance have a diagram of your rotisserie frame mount?

Yup, I have used a unispotter many times. Great tool. I learned the hard way to use more stud and work slow. Yanked a hole in the top of my motorcycle tank...thank god i can weld too) Lol.
