Yesterday was a special day for us. I officiated at our son Paul's wedding to a wonderful young woman. The boy did good!

congrats! (and blessings for the couple)

Mickey,

You married your son? In Missippi you can marry your sister-
without a priest!
Anyway, congrats!

GA too. My sisters daughter, my niece, remarried this summer.

Three weeks ago, her daughter married her new husbands son. Brother marries sister......step brother-step sister.....but still....

Congrats, Mickey.

That's cause MS is mostly protestant.

Mickey,

Sorry - I couldn't resist.No reflection on your family.

Congratulations Mickey! Must have been a proud moment for you, doing the honors of tying the knot. Not many Papas get that privilage. Wishing them all the best. PJ

Shoot, Doug - is that all you got? :smirk:

No worries here!

Thanks to all of you. This was indeed a special day. Janet and I couldn't be more pleased, and Paul had quite a few of his high school and college buddies here to celebrate.

Congratulations to you Mickey, what a special day!

Cheers!

Congratulations Mickey!!

Before coming Stateside,I had the honour and the priveledge to officiate at my father's second wedding, and two of my daughters.
Keeping it in the family is fun.

Stuart.

Thanks, Stu. The only drawback was that I didn't get to sit with Janet for the ceremony. Vocational hazard... :frown:
