New Exhaust System

I'm wanting to replace my complete exhaust system from flange to tailpipe and ALL proper supports in-between. I called Moss to order the parts and found out they were out of stock with no idea when part will be in. They said they were having problems getting the front pipe in. Any suggestions of a good resource to buy the complete exhaust system? Thanks

Im still a big advocate of finding the old school exhaust mechanic and just having him cut and fit the pieces and weld them in. Over the years I have found that to be cheaper and they last longer. Maybe purchase the muffler at a minimum and let a custom shop fab up the rest. Around here where I live we have a lot of small mom and pop (its usually pop) that does this kind of stuff.

The issue here might be getting the proper sized flange to go to the cast iron exhaust manifold. Other than that ... I agree that a local muffler shop is a good cost effective option.

I installed a header and then went to a local shop for the balance. Did a great job. Cheaper if you bring CASH!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a "pops" working on a new pipe as we (??) thread. I did point out the importance of the top end flange and that it needed to fit the seal and manifold. He said that should be "no problem". Right. That's why we own these lil' treasures, for continious education. I'll let you know how the new exhaust turns out in a "couple days".

Oh, and thanks for the e-bay heads up. I always seem to get in just in time to see the bid awards.
