New Englanders can handle it [I hope ...]

Some pics of my walk. Note how high the snow comes almost to the top of the parking meter.

Sorry I couldn't rotate the pics

Take care everyone... I'm one of the folks who chooses to live in winter wonderland, here in western Canada... It doesn't bother me that much, I've learned to live with it, and I think winter and snow creates beautiful photos...

I heard in Yellowknife it's a balmy -40 (that's F or C).

That could be, I know a few people who make the far north home... One elderly couple I know here in Calgary, worked out of Yellowknife as a teacher for many years... They live here now, but their children still live up there!

Then again an old friend of mine who grew up in Yellowknife has made balmy Victoria, BC his home as an adult...

OK Elliot... we're coming up on "Wednesday" morning. You going home?

Flight is 5pm EST, so about 2pm your time Mark.
I've already checked in online and Logan airport should be operational by then. It will all depend on the airlines.
Will let you know.

 Hope so (and that all the backed up stuff doesn't totally stuff the airport). 5pm just might work.
Good luck.

Tom, are you the guy covered in Hershey syrup?

Syrup? Heck no. I'm the guy who poured it.

Paging Elliot. Did you make it?

Uneventful trip. Arrived back home at 8:30pm.
All flights back to the Philadelphia airport from Boston were cancelled through 12:30pm. Our 5 o'clock flight left about 25 minutes late so I'm not complaining.

Nice! Could have been SO much worse. :rolleye:

Too easy Tom, Hitchcock used chocolate syrup for blood in the famous shower scene from Psycho.

Bingo Walter!

Now ... what *brand* of chocolate syrup ...

No googling allowed.

:jester:
