New computer problem !#^[$%

We've had a Kyocera FS-C5030N color laser printer for several years...it's been great! All of a sudden a couple of days ago it won't print. I get an error message saying I need to restart the printer spooler. I've tried the instructions for that and it still doesn't work. The only way I can print is to restart the computer and it will print one document then that's it. Any ideas of what to do? I really need this for my job. Thanks.

ps. We are using Windows 7

I presume you downloaded the drivers for Windoows 7?

Gary - I've found that in 90% of computer peripheral problems, removing the printer and reinstalling solves the problem.

- Printers/Kyocera/Delete

- Restart computer

- Computer finds and installs the printer automagically.

If not installed by Windows, install it manually. (Printers/Add)

Gary - what's the status?

How did you fix the problem?

Well guys, I've been buried in other things for a few days. I decided that, before I deleted my printer or tried other fixes suggested, I'd just try printing again. Seems that the problem healed itself...printer works just fine again. Of course, who knows how long that'll last !!

Y'know, Gar, we're s'posed to be a "paperless society" by now... don't need no steenkin' printers.

...yeah, <span style="font-style: italic">right</span>!

Ya, I wish Doc. My job requires LOTS of paper to be printed !!
