Trying to line up some of the last big things Ill need. As this is a street car with nothing impressive going on I don't ned a race clutch. Im only looking for a kit that will allow a lot of abuse. I have no desire to replace this for a long time. Im not finding to many options on an uprated disk. I have heard a rumor of a larger clutch that fits right in for another car like a triumph. Is there any truth to that or am I going crazy?
 
The stock should be fine. I've got bone stock clutches in both my cars and have had any issues with them. The original in my 75 was changed at 42k after an engine rebuild and showed almost no wear and that clutch had seen some pretty good abuse over the years.
 
Nothing wrong with the stock clutch Will. I've experienced the same thing as Stewart has as to old clutch wear. When I replaced the clutch on the 72 when I restored it, the clutch had 68,000 miles on it. It looks like it could go another 68,000 miles, but I did put a new one in from Moss. That was back in 2005. You don't need a special clutch disk. I would be more concerned with the pressure plate, making sure it's in good condition. If it is, put it back in there with a new disk and all should work out well. PJPJ
 
Dang it I love over engineered things. One of the biggest reasons I love the drivetrain of these cars. Iv seen a pressure plate some where that had a solid center ring on the pressure plate. Thanks for the replies.
