I've only lurked here once in a while, but this forum has been recommended by more than one person, so let's see.
I'm in the assembly stage of a totally modified CGT6 which will incorporate almost every mod I've read about over the decades, including a Toyota T50 5-Speed tranny and triple Stromberg CD150s. Mating the MK1 GT6 bonnet and doors to a '73 Spit Tub will be interesting. Oh well - just another "little" problem to solve. :wink:
I bought my first '68 GT6 back in '75 and it had been in and out service until around 1990. It started life in NYC and followed me through nine cities on all three coasts. My buddy and I started on the "Project" back in '06. It's taken so long because we moved the car to his place in Milford, Michigan, while I split the rest of my time between PAX River, MD and JAX, FL.
I hope to be able to help newby LBCOs while draining the brains of the rest you - lol
