Trying out a new browser, Maxthon. Anyone use it before? Never heard of it before and I could be wrong but it appears to have some Linux influence. Very fast, very user friendly. At first when downloaded, it appears all junked up, but with some easy tweaking, it can be set to your liking. A little different look than most Windows browsers, which is why I thought of the Linux influence. I'm going to give it a try for a while and see how it goes. Easily customized to your preference. PJ
 
Paul - never heard of that one. How's it doing on videos, photo posting, etc.?

I'm still happy with Google Chrome. (plus Adblock, Flashblock, Ghostery, etc.)

I have Comodo's Dragon browser on my laptop...Chrome-based but with better security. I'm quite please with it.

Someone is going to prove the security and reliability of "the cloud" to me several times before I would use a cloud-based browser like Maxthon.
 
How does Maxthon use the Cloud? ( Isn't everything we browse actually stored somewhere away from our browser, at least temporarily? )

Doc, Do you have any thoughts on this browser? Does it have any Linux influence? Is the cloud influence bad? Is it automatic or can you shut it off? Don't need anything bad in here, enough of that stuff already.
Oh yeah, I bought a copy of Fedora v.19 64 bit! Also a disk with the Linux library, what ever that is. Haven't tried it yet but hopeful. :encouragement: PJ
