Saw this on the Wedge List.

Here's your chance to get the next collectible book before it's even released:

Originality Guide

If history repeats, this will be worth millions!

Well, maybe hundreds...

It better be really big to cover all those models.
Just placed my purchase

352 pages should cover it!

I have the TR3, TR2/TR3/TR4/5/TR250, and the TR7/TR8 volumes, but have this one on order also.

Got mine yesterday. Nicely done, as usual. Has what seems to be all the content of previous volumes, and some new stuff.

In his introduction to the book, he states one of his reasons for doing this was to make the info available to those who can't bankroll a copy of the earlier editions from eBay!

Hey, that aint right. Amazon is just down the road. Should service us Washingtonian's before the rest of the country. It's the least they should do as we get charged tax. :jester:

Nice of him! Bill's a class act.

Mine was shipped on the 11th, should arrive today. I believe UPS now has a policy of never delivering products earlier than promised, even if that means the item sits in the warehouse 5 miles away for several days.

But it shipped from KY, not WA, so I'd guess that's where they all came into Amazon.

Well, I guess, somehow, I ordered 2 books. Anybody want to buy from me?

Is this similar to the Complete Original TR series that covered these models, or if not what are the differences, less technical, more technical, more pictures less text, or vice versa--I am sure I will pony up and buy one eventually regardless, but good to know whatever you can find out, I am curious.

While I've not seen mine yet, my understanding is that this is a new edition of the "Original Triumph TR" series, that incorporates all the information found in the previous volumes, plus a bit more. If you follow the link Mickey gave above to Amazon, then click on the book image on the left and flip to the copyright page, it says that it's a combination of the 3 previous books.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Mickey. Ordered one tonight.

You should get some kind of cut from Amazon Mickey ... I ordered one too!

It really looks like he's combined all the volumes into one, and I was concerned that something would be left out. Doesn't appear that way.

As with the individual books, the photography is first rate, as is his writing. Even though I have most of the earlier books (missing the TR4/5/250/6 book), I'm glad to have this one. Can't say that Janet understands completely, though...

Ordered yesterday, recvd today...must be an Amazon troll living under our bridge.
Worth having even if you have the other Piggot books, great comparison shots for correctness and lots of color pics.
I'm enjoying checking out the other TR's as I'm focused on 3's.

Got mine today too. Should make some interesting perusing over the weekend comparing and contrasting.

Great that it has been re-run, although I have one of the original books and I was hoping to finance my son's college eduction with it...wonder how long it will take the price to go down on the old books?

I've actually got a first edition as well, the one that covered TR2-6. Wonder what it's worth now?
