Congrats Ray, we all knew you needed something else to keep you busy:smile:

I hear that it caused a crowd when it arrive at Barber Motorsports.

Great job Ray, save another!

The car is spending the night in Tuscaloosa. The car that's racing was late to the track so the BE was used as a placeholder in the inspection line until the race car arrived.

Sweet! I hope she has a good trip up I-59...keep us in the loop. BTW, can I do anything for the trip?

You're turning into the home for wayward Bugeyes. I heartily approve.

Love the shot of the Bugeye bonnet in the back of the truck. Even in pieces a Bugeye still smiles.

Congrats on the new addition, Ray!

Cullman - is that the place that advertises on ebay - lots of kit cars and other oddities? I've often wondered how they find some of the stuff.

He's had some very interesting stuff on ebay - been tempted more than once!

Glad you're still in the Bugeye business. Seems like you were thinking of selling a while back.

If you're ever here in Townsend, let me know. Coffee's on!

It's got wires so you know its got front disc's. Do you know how the rear was done, Ray?? Early 1/4 wire axle?

Kurt.

Don't know yet but will soon. While I like wire wheels on most cars, I'm not a fan of them on a BE. Therefore, I will be removing everything specifically wire wheel related. I have a new set of Minators to go on this car.

Looks great - I must confess I opened the first pic and thought "wow, even a hardtop" but is that a spotlight or a vent? - before I saw the truck top.

AN5L42762 arrived at her new home last night. Didn't have the VIN until this morning when I received an email from the archivist at the British Motor Heritage Trust. They were able to retrieve the VIN from the "BAE" number on the door and several photos of the car.

I understand that the folks at Grassroots Motorsports Magazine took several photos of her while she as on the trailer at Barber Motorsports.
