GT6 New axle shaft flanges too big [rotoflex]

I had to replace one of my original axle shaft flanges(outer) on my 69 rotoflex GT6 but when I received it from Victoria British the new one was 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch longer that the old one which obviously throws everything out.....to the point where I can't get the vertical link back in.
I figured that they must've sent me the wrong one, so I ordered another one....same thing.
Has anyone run into this before?

Thanks

I have attached a pic to show...big difference!

Surely someone mislabeled those parts at their warehouse or keeps picking parts out of the wrong bin?

I'm not near a VB catalog right now; I wonder if the part number is wrong for the GT6? It should be the same as for Spitfire 71-on, for example. Part number 37H4973 at Spitbits, TRF and other vendors who use real part numbers. ;)

No the part number is correct.....
But I figured it out...actually Spitbits did.
At least at Spitbits there is someone technical you can talk to....when I called Victoria British, all they could say (after transfering me around a bit) was no that's the correct axle Flang.....you can send them back at your own cost and well credit you.
When I called Spitbits they knew exactly what was wrong.....they had a container come over with the same parts and they knew immediately they were wrong and sent them back to the Manufacturer.
They are too tall......another good reason to use Spitbits.....
He also said you can use the wrong ones on a Spitfire and becuase they are a bit longer they will introduce a bit more negative camber if you want that...but NFG on a GT6......
