Be wary of installing 3-point belts. The attachment point will be below your shoulder and that can cause injury. Whether it causes more injury than not having them at all depends on the type of impact, so proceed at your own discretion! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I gotta believe that anything a 3-point belt can do will be less than being impaled by the steering column or cracking you skull open on the wiper motor! ;-)

Quite possibly. There have been reports of severe neck and spine damaged being caused by shoulder belts mounted too low. Which is the lesser danger is anyone's guess!

Well... I need some seat belts to satisfy my wife's sense of security, especially so that our little son can be a passenger.

I can't believe I had to refer to the manual in order to figure out how to operate the handbrake! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif What other surprises does MG ownership have in store for me?

...& there are many!!!
