Hello,

I just bought a new (to me) 1952 TD. It should arrive by closed transport some time tonight.

Needless to say, I'm excited!

Sweet. More photos, please! Join the NEMGTR!

Another '52! Welcome to the BCF. What's your chassis nubmer?

Nah. I'm upfront and right to the point. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Uh-oh. I think I know how this kind of thing works.

So... Will you tell me yours if I tell you mine? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Congrats -- my grandfather's TD was my intro to LBCs many years ago. Looks like a nice one, hope it comes in as nice as it looks.

Chassis #18508. Not shy at all. Just seeing where you fall next to mine.

#27874 here...'53 Sequoia Creme

Matt..very sweet...and how refreshing no VW in the back... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Come on TD's!

Good lookin' car, Matt! We'll have more photos, too, please.

IMO the only use for an SUV would be for crushing those fake T-series VW abortions. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

It's 14358.

Can anyone see the one-inch-wide L-shaped brackets on the dash? There are two pairs, one on each side, almost as if for Brooklands-type windscreens. (You can probably see them best right above the glovebox.) What are these?

Also, what are you guys doing for seat belts? (Or not doing?)

Thanks!

Seat belts, you want to die or what. Think about it a bit.

They are not required on an antique.

They probably were for Brooklands - some folks mounted them there, others mounted them forward on the scuttle.
