Not converted to Ubuntu for home use yet? I was surprised when I installed it on a new motherboard and all the integrated bits actually worked without fiddling around with it for days on end...

well, the fun is in getting all the software you wanna run to work with it, because people want to claim you ~hafta have~ the latest and "greatest" versions of JDK and MySQL to make it run...

Oh yeah, I DID have to fiddle with hardware drivers a bit to get drivers that would allow the ATI card I'm using to run in 3D mode...

stayed up half the night trying to get a piece of software runnin'. I think I need to svn the latest version, cause I'm thinkin' the copy I got is missing some important bits.

Well, "home use" is kinda like "work" here. 'smits has to have those (&*^% M$ machines to run Adobe and Corel stuff... me, I just have to have something to serve up her humongus files to 'em.
CentOS does it with one wing folded.

OK you 2, what in blazes are you talking about and what does it have to do with the singer?

Why, how to HEAR her, of course!!

"...three squawking geese; four limerick oysters..."
