Without going in to too much detail, I am thinking it is time for our school to set up its own website outside of the pages provided by our district. All I am looking for is a simple "brag page" where I can showcase articles and pics of the cool stuff our teachers and students are doing. I sort of envision a main page with links to awards, team events, PTA news etc. I can set a link directly to it on our school's present page so I'm not even sure I have to have a separate domain name. I prefer CHEAP since I;m sure it will be out of my pocket at first.
It must be simple to use and would be great if I could create the pages in a word document and save as HTML to upload. Or something really simple like this. Where should I begin?
