Needed a Bath

I was dirty and smelly so it was time for a bath before winter sets in. The last time I saw sun light was a couple of years ago so it was nice to get out in the fresh air.
Back into the garage for a nice coat of wax.

Cheers

And it looks even better in person! (unlike Mark himself)

Over the last couple of weeks we have been working hard on the car to be ready for spring. Today I installed the WINDOW DEFLECTORS pretty cool for 1959 way ahead of the times. What was the first car to have these thing installed?

Beautiful, rare car, Mark. I like. :yesnod:

So, what kind of drivetrain is in there? And, are you going for concours on this car, or a driver?

Really nice car, don't see them often.

Hey Mark

Right now it has a 850cc motor which is all hopped up. The original 750cc motor is sitting under my bench in the shop. Just doing up a really nice show car and leaving off some of the original bits which I have. It's pretty hard to figure out a concours car since every one is different no two cars are the same out of the 300-500 they made. Each piece is custom made for the car and stamped with the car number on the back side my car being number 33 and they used what every they could find for things like tail lights. Most of these cars where raced and a lot of the trim and interior pieces where lost over the years on most.Mine was also a race car way back in early 60's but someone had the sense not to toss the stuff away so I have it all.

Cheers
Mark
