Need the bulb number for the front and rear lights

Can anyone tell me what the bulb number is for the front parking/directional and the rear stop/directional bayonet bulb on the phase one BJ8 cars?

Some of mine have 2 round contacts on the bottom, and some have 2 oval contacts on the bottom. What's the difference?

This is what I found at the local auto store:
The 1157 has two oval contacts.
The 7225 has two round contacts.

I can not make out the number stamped in the bulbs that are in my car. The above reference bulbs look like my bulbs, but that does not mean they are the correct replacements.

What is the correct number for the front?
What is the correct number for the rear?

Thank you,
Roger

Hi Roger,
I'm not sure what the 7225 bulb is. The 1157 would be a tail/brake light type bulb. An 1156 looks just like the 1157 except it only has a single contact at the bottom. That would be a turn signal type of bulb. My owners manual says stop/tail lights are 21 /6 watts. Turn signals would be 21 watts. Front or back shouldn’t make any difference.

Greg has it right 1157 it is.

The bulbs are the same front and rear.

It shouldn't make any difference whether it has round or oval contacts.
