need source for starter cable insulator cover

As I am working on the refit of my Rivergate/1275 setup, I decided to go with a gear reduction starter, instead of the original Lucas unit (which would have required cutting a hole in the bellhousing)...The new gear reduction starter had to be clocked to allow the on board solenoid to clear the car's frame rail. It seems that there is only one position that I can move the adapter plate to and get the unit to fit in the hole. The problem with this one position is that I don't like the proximity of the positive cable/positive cable post on the starter. I see it as too near the engine block (it ends up right by the block with a VERY small amount of room).

What I need to ask everyone is, do you know where I can pick up a correct-sized rubber boot that I can fit over the positive cable, so that wen I attach it to the positive post, it will insulate both the positive post and cable? I don't know how much heat would be a factor... I attempted using a PVC Valve boot (largest I could find), but the cable is too large...

Any and all comments appreciated.

you could try heat shrink tubing it comes in many sizes small single strand to large battery cable stuff

Moss, look at the boot to the starter switch.
