Need recollection refreshed on break-in oil.

I've been repeating over and over week after week:

Rotella Triple T 15/40 for break-in:

Then I figured Castrol 20/50 Syntec to run.
I hope I have it right.

There was a mention of possibly
using Brad Penn oil for break-in, but I think the Rotella
is essentially the same thing. Hashing over old ground, I
know, but want to hedge my bets for best results after all my
hard work. Anybody highly opposed, please advise with
recommendations. Please include resume' and ....

Just kidding....

I know that Brad Penn is a good product. The price has risen considerably in the past couple months, which is probably industry wide. I would look into the recommended oils and find the one that is priced right.
 
Yes , I agree. Make certain that your break-in oil has ZDDP. And follow up with racing oil that also contains adequate levels of it.

That is exactly what I used and the ZDDP levels are correct for break in and flat tappet cams in both.

Done, finished, over and out................
