Any suggestions of where to buy a new top that is good quality but hopefully a little cheaper than VB or Moss? Thanks.

They can often be found on eBay.

Thanks Mickey...I'll check.

lbcarco.com often has sales. I have gotten my tops from Jeff and have always been satisfied with them.

Yeah but... check the brand. Robbins is the brand to aim for.

JC Whitney's el-cheapo tops are $267, VB's Robbins zippered-top is $400. I've never had to do my MG's but after researching the options I settled ended up with Robbins on my Miata. I can attest to the quality - they're first rate.

Has anyone used an EZ Top? A company on the "net has them for $225.00.

Whichever brand you buy....get a zip-out rear window!

Pretty sure mine is EZ top - canvas though. I did need to move the life the dot fastneners a little and it didn't fit quite as well as I would have liked, but, for all I plan to use it, I really like it. and for the price, (which for me was about $150) I feel like I got a real deal.

I use EZ on tops for MGBs. The fit around the side windows is very good and for the money a very good product. The snaps around the rear are usually off a little but I have always managed to get them snapped. The slide clip by the door may need to be cut down a bit also. A easy job with a set of tin snips and a file to clean up the edges. Then a dab of paint so it will not rust where it has been trimmed. Bob

Thanks everyone...we appreciate the input.
