I'm looking for a competent MG mechanic in Upstate/Central New York to work on my wife's 1976 MGB. Preferred locations are in Albany, Binghamton, Syracuse, or Utica areas. Any contact information would be apppreciated. Thanks.

I can recommend a mechanic without any reservation, been using this guy since 1978, he's semi-retired, but working almost daily. He checks his answering machine regularly.

I'm not sure what that is or how to do it...he kept a naive young college kid's MGs running fine on a tight budget years ago...especially when I had screwed something up!

By all means, Tom's last name is "Roberts"

He's a pretty colorful and very experienced race mecanic as well. Folks around here will take him all kinds of British cars to work on and restore. The last time I was there, last summer, he was just finishing a frame off XKE, just beautiful.
