Need Ideas on Selling Our Midget

As I can't drive it right now,& due to the fact that I have
two other sports cars,I think I'm going to sell our '74 cb Midget.
It runs great, but is nowhere near concours condition.I've put
a lot of money into it in the last five years, and decided that I'd
rather buy an MGB (down the road).I'm thinking about asking $4500.
Is that out of line?
If I get that for it,I won't have regrets about letting it go.I feel
that if I were to sell it cheap,I may as well keep it.
Your thoughts?

Thanks, but I'm almost embarrassed to ask that much.
Also, not sure how I can sell it right now,as I need to use a
floor jack to pull it away from the side of the garage.

Local to me a running but not driving Sprite (sidescreen square car) with a 1275 was being offered for $4500 and it sold in a week. I looked at it as a possible donor car, it needed a reasonable amount of work to be driving again.

Prices on our cars have gone up. Not air-cooled Porsche levels of increase, but they have gone up.

Was that a RB car converted to CB?
It is beautiful but social security doesn't make it possible.

It's a '74 chrome bumper car.I would not call it beautiful.
I think it looks good (from 20 + feet!).Somewhere in the past
it was painted silver. Now it's a dull silver.

Congrats on the sale. Fast and easy sale is always a nice thing.

So is my 66 I think.... 5 speed, electronic gauges, 3.9 rear end. .. .. I should ask $22k and let it go for ... ?? NO RUST- recently had it all repaired and repainted. new (jaguar quality) interior, VTO wheels, Pirelli CN36 tires. etc etc.

I know this isn't the for sale section... remove post if in violation.
