TR6 Need help with Mimosa Yellow Paint

I am completing a TR6 restoration and wish to paint it Mimosa Yellow. I have been using PPG products for the epoxy primer, primer surfacer and sealer. The issue I have run into is that PPG never converted Mimosa Yellow from the old lead based toners to the new formulations.

The only way I can obtain a modern lead free formula is to have a color matching scan done by a PPG distributor or obtain the results of someone's previous PPG scan.

I have no samples of Mimosa Yellow suitable for scanning. Can anyone help me with this.

Thanks

Henry

Do I understand that the paint must be PPG?

There was a auto paint store in Mesa, AZ that had paint formulations from maufacturers from the early fifties. If you think that would help I will check on the store.
