Need Help with Door Seals

OK, I received parts the other day and am having a problem with the door seals. The door seals from Victoria British Part # 9-5010, I can not figure out how they install. I have found in Moss catalog what looks like what I need called "Bristleflex Door Seals" but they cost some what more than what I ordered.
If anyone has used the type from "VB", I could use some advise.
Thanks,
Tom

And I'm still trying to get some more info, Tom...but the guys at VB are basically order takers & they say that number was what you should've ordered/received. I need to see them to understand...can you post a photo?

Tony, I received what I ordered. It's just that I can not see how it would install to serve as a door seal.
I will try to attach a picture of the new one with the old one.
Thanks,
Tom

Felt to the inside, they clip down over the edge of the door opening, grip the sheetmetal. They're a bugger to fit initially. The channel is the last groove before the felt.

I hate to say this, but the Vic Brit door seals are of a very poor quality. I had a set of them and sent them back. To me, they were junk. Use the seals from Moss. They are very close to the original seals in size and looks. They push on very easy, as the Vic Brit seals will hang up and distort in shape during installation. The Bristle flex seals are probably the best you can get at the present time. I spoke with the owner/manufacture, a very nice British fellow, last year and he is extreamly conscious of their quality. PJ

Glad you said it, Paul. Last set of VB seals I got (many years ago) separated inside of a week. Customer was PO'd, ~I~ was too. MacGregor from then to now.

Well, after this, I may stop selling VB seals...I like the ones from MacGregor but it just takes so long to get them...Guess I'll make moss my primary source unless somebody wants to wait for MacGregor stuff to make its way down here.

Isn't Moss vending his seals now?

Yep, they've just started with the fuzzies.

How long does it typically take to get MacGregor seals? Are we talking a few days difference due to shipping or does he actually need to manufacture the parts (or some other drastic step) after an order is placed?

Tony, check out the Moss seals. I was surprised at the quality. They were very close to the originals. PJ

They on my order list as well Tom.
