Ref. Moss Cat. Austin Healey 3000 Engine Internal -- items 118 and 119
My Tach stopped working. Removed it from the Tachometer and if I pulled the cable slightly it would turn. Went to the Distributor and removed the cable from there. Pressed on the Square and could feel the whole thing go in past the worm gear. Removed the big nut, pulled out the pinion and low and behold there was no Thrust Button.
I looked through Moss, Victoria British and in general on the Internet and can not locate one.
Does anyone know where I can get a Thrust Button for the AH3000 6cylinder engine?
Does anyone know where I can get drawings/diagrams of the Thrust Button in order to have it machined?

At this point any and all help would be greatly appreciated..................... Al
