This is Jack. Working on 62 TR3A . Found a switch underneath the dash located close to the heater. Need help in identifying it. Im a little rusty with this TR as my last project was a Bugeye back in early 70's. Take a look and let me know if you recognize this switch. Thx

Definitely not original; just a common FLAPS replacement switch (tho likely from several decades back). So it could control almost anything. But if I had to guess, my guess would be kill switch.

It is likely a secret kill switch, a switch for the passenger ejection seat, or a switch for the Romulan cloaking device.

Nice looking tr3 at least under the dash, very stock looking. It looks to have the original heater hoses or perhaps replica aftermarket. Plus still has the brass holder for the temp gauge line. Be very careful around that line because if that lines breaks the gas comes out and the temp gauge will not work. Welcome to the forum—kill switch for something-- trace the wires back, could be anything—except a time machine or something like that; well if it is let me know, I have some stuff I would like to change.
peaceout
