Hi,
does anybody know what vehicle theese "plinths" belong to?
Cheers,
Jan

They look like the steering column plinths for a '58-'64 Sprite/Midget but I am not sure.

What's the part number? Can't read it. Looks like old Motorcycle light mounts (anti-vibration), and I do know some were for reflector mounts on non-flat (beveled) surfaces, like the ones shown.

ok, first things first. The image is stolen from lcgb forum..
since the person that posted the pic hasn´t bother to answer my inquiry..

I´ve found one reference to them being Lucas part No. 54057111

https://www.racinglambrettas.com/howthetdidit/lighs01.jpg

..still don´t know where they were used. (I´m trying to do a period correct scoot.) I don´t know where to hunt for the plinths used on the pic... turn up zilch, nada when searching the net..

Thought they looked motorcyclish. Really hard to tell part numbers and even size from that photo. Since the one thing I can read is "stop tail lamps", I thought for the small-ish brake lights or even turn signal pods.

ok thanks,
BTW, does anybody have a Lucas Part Reference Catalogue?

As the article tells, the mounts were fitted behind Lucas Pathfinders WFT576 and WLR576´s on the legshields.. but really hard to tell the width and height of them. Hoping to find a pair soon.

TOC: You don´t happen to recollect what motorcycle you´ve seen them on?

Anyways, thanks for the help all of you.

cheers,
Jan

I contacted the Morris Minor Owners Club, and the web admin did not know of any such part.

So, it´s back to square one :p

They look a bit like the plinths for TR3 rear turn signal lights.
