TR4/4A Need Help Finding

Hello All. My name is Josh Noyes and I am in search of two Triumphs I helped my Grandfather (Edwin Noyes) restore when I was younger. One was a 1962 TR4 (VIN # CT1537L) and the other was 1971 TR6 (VIN # CC67313L). These cars were restored in Maine and were first sold from the estate after his passing, around 2008.

I am told they may have sold at that time to a buyer in Connecticut. Not guaranteed this is correct however.

I would greatly like to find these and purchase if available for sale now or in the future. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am happy to pay a healthy finder's fee to anyone who can assist me.

Best way to contact me would be via phone/text or email. Both below:

Welcome to the forum, Josh. Finding old cars is hit or miss at best. Here is a place to start: https://trregistry.com/start/registry/index.htm
You might consider finding a "tribute" or similar car if your search is not successful.

Yeah, I checked the Registry when I first read the message, no joy.

Josh - You certainly have a lot more information than many who are trying to find a former TR family member - some just remember that 'it was red and traded in to a dealer in Dallas' or such. Connecticut could be a good lead and contacting the clubs in the NE might yield something. Good lick.

since you have the vin#'s it may be possible to track down titles through DMV? They may be stingy with info tho so maybe take a box of donuts to your local PD and see if they would be willing to help ya out..tell them you'll donate to the fund or somethin...just a thought...
