Putting the door rubber edging/trim on. Have all of it around doors. I think I know how the rubber goes down the w/s frame and then over onto the fender but anyone has a picture of that area that would be great. How many places have the rubber boots or caps on the ends of the trim? getting much closer,

This is the stuff from McGregor in Canada. And he told me exactly how to put it on. Don't cut it at the bottom of the windshield post, bend it, maybe put a little kink in it with wide blade cold chisle and tap it on with a soft blow hammer. But I never thought to ask him about what to do with the caps. I don't think the cap on the verticle edge coming up the door opening is correct. But the actual pieces of furflex or whatever it is called are the best that can be had.

Thx Vette, kinda the way I thought. A BJ8 w/s frame is different but think it will work the same. Arent there caps on the top of this A post trim?

Marv, my car is a BJ7, i didn't know the BJ8 windshield is different than mine. How so?

My bad , its not. I saw the dash metal dash and thought it was an earlier car. Thats what I will be doing this morning.
