When I lived in Utah (Hill AFB) I knew a guy in St Lake, Walt Osbourne, who was the king of Jaguars in Salt Lake. He later moved to Idaho, but he and his sones make a replica C-Type. I've seen his work and it's top drawer.

IMHO, there are too many D types out there. I would go for an XJ13 if it where me.
