T-Series Need a MGTD Steering Wheel

Hi to all! I just bought a 1951 MGTD which is very complete except the PO wanted to keep the steering wheel for sentimental reasons. Long story. So, I am in need of a wheel to steer the car around with while I am fixing what needs to be fixed. Eventually I will get a good aftermarket steering wheel, but I want to take my time deciding on one. Does anyone have a left over or marginal wheel I can buy? It certainly doesn't need to be pretty, just functional. You can PM me or respond here.
Thanks,
Charlie

If you can't find a steering wheel, clamp a big set of vise grips to the column.

Hi Tony!

Yep, I finally did just that. It doesn't work like a wheel, but I was able to steer the car off the trailer. I carefully wrapped the column with a rag first and the vise grips will be a short term solution. Now to change all the fluids, new plugs ect. to try to start the engine. It does turn over freely with the hand crank.

I have one that I can't use for converting to a wood rim... its bent, but would fit...yours for the shipping...
