Hi All,
I made a new firewall support(the one on the right that has the hat section spot welded on it for mounting the coil)and I forgot to measure the exact placement of that hat section on the support before I drilled it out a couple of years ago. could someone take a couple of measurements from their car for me to go by? I have a picture in the Horler book that would give me an idea but if anyone has the spare time to grab some more precise measurements for me I'd sure appreciate it!

Actually you'r pic is pretty helpful. That would get me close. But if you can, maybe measure from the closest point that hat section comes to the inner wheel well at the top (1), and then again at the bottom (2).

Just measured mine on my bugeye and it's 3 3/8" top and 3/4" bottom.
