Anyone know of a good site to watch them being driven in anger? Was it Group D that they raced in?

"Movie cameras" were rare back then. But there were a few racing films. Standard Triumph produced films of their entries at Le Mans in the early years. Hard to find today, lost in all the advertising.

Go to Youtube and search for "The Driskill Archive". Amateur home movies from '50s era California sports car races. Really good stuff.
