Need a bullet wire crimper

Talked to my new neighbor (a retired Ford mechanic), he says crimp with the wratch crimper is all Ford will do. If you have problems then solder. I was a solder only fan until we had a discussion while working on my PU. Now I'm a hybrid.

Okay Doc, now you have got my attention! I graduated from Niles McKinley High School, US Navy right out of H.S., undergraduate at Youngstown State, and private practice as an attorney for about 11 years in Warren. I did some work for Warren General Hospital.

What year did ya gradumacate from McKinley? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

We know folk in common, I'm bettin'.

EDIT: Be it Kismet, happenstance, serendip or stray neutron bombardment: JUST after I posted that, the phone rang... the name was that of the Medical Photographer BACK IN the '60's~'70's at Trumbull. My mentor. Haven't spoken to him since the late '70's. HE CALLED ME TONIGHT. He is living less than an hour from me! Somehow got my brother's number, got mine from bro.

This is waay too weird. I'm buyin' a lotto ticket and looking for my AFDB at the same time... mebbe look to a shaman for advice.

Quick update. We did get the crimper from Jeff and I have used it a few times. However, I'm now still waiting for hte rest of the wiring harness... the main powerblock...

We got a shipping notice that says "something" has shipped from Woodstock, GA!!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

Of course, we'll be on vacation from this w/e through next, but at least there now a "hope" the car might be drivable before July (my early, probably optimistic goal).

"The Wire-man Cometh"! WooHoo.

My July drive-date was as optimistic as I had feared. An incredibly busy June has passed and I am finally able to continue on the rewiring project.

There is hope for Jeff to see his crimper again! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif
