Sorry ,this is a redundant post on different forums.
For rebuilding the Rover V8 motor what book is the consensus bible to read.

This is the one I've seen touted, though I haven't read it myself.

I swear by my tech manual, I was a complete novice and was able to rebuild mine using it. As long as the Rover is a 3.5

:iagree:
Same here, along with several communiques with Woody, and lots of help from Brad Wilson (Wedgeparts), who lives just a couple miles from me!

I like Land Rover overhaul manual for V8 Petrol engines; Publication number LRL0164 and LRL 0004. Not specifically for the TR8 but covers the 3.5, 3.9, 4.0, 4.2 and 4.6 versions. It's a Bentley manual, ISBN 0-8376-066509.

As I don't just want a stock motor ,what Mickey showed and what I found elsewhere is what I was looking for. I do want the TR8 fac. manual and still am looking for 1.
I will need to be in contact with Brad as I need to know what I will need to change ,if anything, on the FI.
