Anthony .. does the Austin-Healey part spin around like a sweep second hand? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A true Healey watch -- at least one that we would all be comfortable and familiar with -- would have hands that flop back and forth like those on the fuel gage. So, for example, you would know that it was about 10 or maybe 20 minutes after 4, 5, or maybe 6 o'clock. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

john loftus, dont be silly,it doesnt spin around at all, thats the backup SUN DIAL part.good option to have when its made in china. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Reid, that's hysterical! I bet a guy could advertise those in Healey Marque and make a bundle of dough! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

I just received a nice note back from the Austin Healey Club in Denmark. Their webshop is run by a third party and they have given me contact information to inquire about ordering one of the watches to be sent to me here in the states. The price is indeed only about $45. I imagine it just has a cheap quartz movement, but that's ok for the price. I have sent the distributor an e-mail and will let you know about ordering one when I find out the particulars.

Well I finally got the watch from the Austin Healey Club of Denmark. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think it is really pretty cool. I'm trying to think of a way to perhaps incorporate it into the Healey, maybe taken off the band and mounted somewhere to use as a clock in the car. Any ideas??
