An intrepid band of british car enthusiasts that are called the Northern Colorado Brigade of British Cars had their first drive of the year on Saturday. We set off from Loveland Colorado and headed west. We took county roads and toured up over the Carter Lake dams and back to Loveland. It was sunny and fairly warm. We stopped at Carter lake for a group photo.
We are:
Bill-73 Jensen Healey
Bruce-66 Riley Elf
Mike-59 AH Sprite
Steve and Dee-67 Triumph TR4a
Since we were touring in the forest, it is appropriate that some woodland creatures were included (Sprite and Elf /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bow.gif)

It was a brief tour, but fun just to get out.

Gonna drive the JPS?

Just checked, Miss Agatha said she would have loved that.

Bruce, The British Motoring Club of Northern Colorado had a brunch run yesterday that covered many of those same roads Started in Windsor, over to Loveland, up past Carter Lake, north to Masonville and around Horsetooth Reservoir and ended at Vern's. Nearly twenty cars in that group. Total trip was nearly 100 miles for me. Yesterday was an awesome day for a drive. We had a few TR6's, two TR8's, a Spitfire, an Austin A40 sedan, a Herald Convertible, a Caterham 7, a Lotus Elise, a MG Magnette, a Morgan Roadster (V6 Model), the requisite gaggle of MGBs and a few others I can't think of right now.

BMCNC does have meetings and dues (have to pay for the newsletter somehow /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif ) and we usually start or finish at an eatery of some sort.
