Every year..this being the fourth in a row..I go on a Mission trip to a Navajo Pueblo here in northern New Mexico. The church I go with is Sugarloaf UMC out of Atlanta and this year I was thrilled to find my oldest grandchild..and only boy of the bunch, requested to go. He's 11 going on 21, very involved here in Parkland Baptist. Besides donations that are still being delivered to my shop, we have a wheelchair equipped van I installed a new engine in and did everything to make a Navajo quad named Nelson very happy. I have by Chevy ext cab longbed truck and an 18 ft. car trailer that will be bursting with not only donations but tools and supplies like lumber, roofing materials, nails, screws, glue paint etc. I'm even trying to find a box truck at a reasonable price..got a ton of stuff. This will make it necessary to get a driver and another vehicle or some creative ideas...anyhow..if anyone would like to see what we do, google Pintado Pueblo Mission trip. it sure opens your eyes...and your heart.
