Drivetrain swapping ain't easy. Every mod you make requires a change or an adapter. Here's the latest update:

Nasty Healey

Big fun, nevertheless.

As they say, if were easy everyone would do it. Amazing story and great documentation and commentary. I hope it all has a very happy ending.

Rick,
I really enjoyed your updates on the progress you are making on you conversion. I do understand your vision of making it look like a 1965 "period" conversion... I think that is spot on for a Healey. I also applaud your use of a small block Ford. I'm a Chevy guy at heart, but I like the small block Ford better for a Healey conversion since its got a smaller V than the small block Chevy. And I'm in complete concurrence that every good mod generates 2 or 3 more requirements... no one said it would be easy (well, maybe "they" did but they lied).

Keep up the good work!

I look forward to future installments.

Cheers,
Steve
